Goma Stones

When I was 12 years old I lived in the small African town of Goma Congo on the banks of Lake Kivu. The majestic volcano Mount Nyiragongo, towered in the distance. Occasionally we would walk it's lava flows, feel it's tremors, until eventually even our home was buried beneath a river of its molten rock. Since then, I've had a fiery fascination with lava stone.

Born from the earth's core, lava rock is the oldest and most abundant stone in the world, and the only rock known to be formed from nothing but fire. Recognized for its grounding and calming properties, igneous rock is created from raw energy and considered to represent rebirth and the shedding of unneeded emotional layers.

When combined with a few drops of essential oils, its porous surface absorbs and releases their natural properties throughout the day, reducing stress and promoting wellbeing. The physical embodiment of fire, the Goma Stones are made to be worn close to the skin, with two separate bracelets capped with a gun metal skull and crowns. Rise from the ashes and ignite the fire within you.
